Country singer Zach Bryan performed at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Friday night wearing a black sleeveless T-shirt with “FREE PALESTINE” printed across the front in capital letters, according to multiple reports and photos from the show.
Below the slogan, the shirt featured a pine tree and the phrase “AN APPEAL TO HEAVEN.” Members of his band also wore shirts in support of Palestinians, Billboard reported. Bryan did not appear to address the shirt from the stage.

A message at a pointed venue

The October 2 concert, part of his “With Heaven On Tour,” was the first of two sold-out nights at the stadium, with the second set for Saturday. Gillette Stadium is owned by New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who barred rapper Macklemore from the venue last month.
Macklemore voiced solidarity with Palestinians and performed his protest song “Hind’s Hall” against images from Gaza during a September 4 stop of Ed Sheeran’s Loop tour at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. He was later dropped from the tour and said Kraft was behind his removal. Kraft said that, based on Macklemore’s “recent actions,” his participation “would cross that line,” while acknowledging the humanitarian crisis.
Following Macklemore's removal, several other artists performing on the tour also withdrew.

Macklemore has since pledged his $1 million in earnings from the tour to organizations supporting Palestinians. A representative for Kraft declined to immediately comment on Bryan’s shirt, according to TheWrap.
