Artificial intelligence company Anthropic filed its registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Oct. 26, setting the stage for what could be one of the largest initial public offerings on record. The company plans to list its Class A shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol "ANT."
The filing shows revenue of $16.3 billion for the six months ended June 30, up from $1.2 billion a year earlier and more than triple the $4.59 billion the company generated in all of 2025. Second-quarter revenue alone reached $11.6 billion.

Anthropic reported a net loss of about $80.7 billion for the half. Roughly $72.4 billion of that came from largely noncash accounting adjustments tied to the rising value of debt and other financial agreements that can be converted into shares. The company recorded its first quarterly operating profit, $974 million, in the second quarter, but still had an operating loss of $693 million for the six months.
The price range and number of shares to be sold have not been disclosed. Trading could begin as early as Nov. 16, according to reports. The filing warns that the company "may be required to seek additional financing sooner than we currently anticipate."
