Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and U.S. Air Force Commander Kenneth Wilsbach discussed military cooperation between the two countries and the regional situation in Tel Aviv.
Israeli Air Force Commander Omer Tishler also attended the meeting, held during Wilsbach’s previously unannounced visit to Tel Aviv on August 23.
The agenda included the regional situation, lessons learned from joint combat and areas for future cooperation. The meeting reflected the importance of the strategic relationship between Israel and the United States, as well as the close military cooperation between the two countries.
During a field visit to the Gaza Strip, Zamir said the Israeli army was prepared and on alert on all fronts.
