San Diego Turkish House celebrates Republic Day with Los Angeles consulate
The San Diego Turkish House hosted a celebration for the 103rd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye, joined by the Turkish Consulate General in Los Angeles, which thanked the volunteers who organized the event.
The Turkish Consulate General in Los Angeles joined Republic Day celebrations hosted by the San Diego Turkish House (Türk Evi), marking the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
The consulate thanked the Turkish House for its kind invitation and congratulated all the volunteers who contributed to the event.
Community gathered for speeches and festivities
Photos shared by the consulate show members of the Turkish American community gathered with Turkish flags, speeches and a festive program in an outdoor courtyard.
The celebration was one of several Republic Day gatherings held across Southern California this week, along with events in Irvine and the Los Angeles area.
