Turkish rock musician Ogün Sanlısoy visits Montreal consulate after Turquebec's Republic Day show
Turkish rock musician Ogün Sanlısoy and his team, together with leaders of the Turquebec Culture and Friendship Association, visited Türkiye's Consulate General in Montreal after an art event the association organized to mark the 103rd anniversary of the Turkish Republic.
Turkish rock musician Ogün Sanlısoy and his team paid a visit to Türkiye's Consulate General in Montreal after performing at an art event held in the city as part of celebrations for the 103rd anniversary of the Turkish Republic.
The event was organized by the Turquebec Culture and Friendship Association, a Montreal-based group of Turkish Canadians. Association leaders joined Sanlısoy and his team at the consulate, which shared photos of the visit on social media, showing the guests alongside consulate staff in front of Turkish, Canadian and Quebec flags.
Turkish communities across Canada have marked Republic Day, celebrated on Oct. 29, with receptions, concerts and cultural events over the past week.
