Boston's public art college
Founded in 1873, MassArt describes itself as the first and only publicly funded, independent college of art and design in the United States. The Boston school offers undergraduate and graduate programs in fine arts, design and art education.
The consulate is also preparing to host a ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 10, marking the 88th anniversary of the death of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Turkish Republic. Citizens who wish to attend have been asked to register by noon on Monday, Nov. 9.
