U.S. President Trump spoke at a rally in Arizona about the leak of a plan for an attack on Iran and the resulting delay to the operation.
Trump said B-2 bombers had been sent to attack Iran some time earlier, but information about the plan was leaked before the attack. According to Trump, the Iranians learned about the attack, and the leak was published by media outlets such as CNN and The New York Times.

Trump said those responsible for the leak should be imprisoned and kept behind bars for life, and argued that they should be shot. Trump also said that people who leaked information had been shot in the past.
B-2 operation carried out two days later
Trump said some details of the attack plan had also been released. He said it had been announced that the B-2 aircraft would take off from Missouri at 12:07 on the day of the attack and that their arrival time had been disclosed, calling the situation unacceptable.

Trump said they had been forced to cancel the B-2 attacks on the same day after the leak and carried out the operation two days later.
Trump said those who leak such information about the activities of the U.S. military should not be pardoned, arguing that leaks put the country's national security at risk.
