The U.S. Treasury Department added three organizations accused of supporting violent far-left groups, along with two Masar Badil leaders, to its sanctions list.
The list includes Italy-based Autistici Inventati, Palestine Action, which was designated a terrorist organization by the United Kingdom in July 2025, and Masar Badil, which is alleged to operate as a front for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
Masar Badil senior leaders Rawa Alsagheer and Zaid Abdulnasser were also added to the U.S. Treasury Department’s sanctions list.
Allegations against the organizations
In its statement, the United States said that Autistici Inventati describes itself as an anti-fascist and anti-militarist organization opposed to capitalism. It alleged that the organization provides digital infrastructure, tools and services to entities it considers aligned with its ideology, including the PKK.
Palestine Action was accused of supporting numerous terrorist acts since July 2020. These activities were said to include incidents in which British law enforcement personnel were physically injured and activities intended to intimidate legitimate commercial businesses.
Bessent points to economic sanctions
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said far-left radicals, extremists, front organizations and their supporters should be wary of economic sanctions.
Bessent said political terrorism has no place in American society. He announced that the United States would continue targeting the groups’ financial resources until they are eliminated.
