The dispute allegedly brought before a US federal court concerns a fee disagreement between Çağdaş Erdoğan, who serves as vice consul at the Turkish Consulate General in Los Angeles, and U2U Law P.C., which provided him with legal assistance.
The complaint alleges that Erdoğan was involved in a traffic accident in Beverly Hills on June 30, 2026. U2U Law P.C. reportedly obtained a $40,846 offer from the insurance company for damage to the vehicle.
Erdoğan allegedly stopped working with the law firm after the offer and informed it that he would handle the case himself. The firm filed a lawsuit alleging breach of contract and seeking payment of $18,530 in fees and expenses that it claims remain unpaid.
Attorney Ahmet Yavuz Uşaklıoğlu, meanwhile, alleged that Erdoğan pressured him through another lawyer whom Erdoğan claimed was “linked to the Armenian lobby.”
