Olivia Rodrigo surprised the audience at Primavera Sound by bringing Robert Smith on stage to perform their new duet "What’s Wrong With Me" for the first time. This performance marked Rodrigo’s first original collaboration on a song.
Before taking the stage, Rodrigo shared with the audience how special the song was to her for many reasons. She expressed excitement about releasing her first featured collaboration and said she still couldn’t believe the song existed.
The official collaboration between Robert Smith and Rodrigo had been long anticipated. Rodrigo had openly expressed her admiration for Smith before, inviting him on stage last year at Glastonbury Festival to perform "Just Like Heaven" and "Friday I’m In Love" together.
Rodrigo’s new album’s lead single "Drop Dead" also references "Just Like Heaven," highlighting how their musical connection has grown stronger recently.
The new album titled "You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love" will be released on June 12. Following the album release, Rodrigo will embark on a world tour.
