Contemporary jewelry from Türkiye will take center stage in Manhattan this month as "Hand to Form: An Art to Wear Exhibition" opens at the Turkish House (Türkevi) during NYC Jewelry Week 2026. The opening ceremony is set for Monday, Nov. 16, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 821 United Nations Plaza, and admission is free with registration on Eventbrite.
The exhibition, curated by Ece Ermeç Üster of Jewelery.Muse for NYC Jewelry Week, sets out to celebrate contemporary jewelry from Türkiye "through its making, materials, processes, and transformations," according to the event listing.
Eight artists from Türkiye
The show brings together eight artists: Arzu Altıncelik, Ayşegül Birol, Ela Cindoruk, Ezgi Okur Kızılçağlayan, Gülnur Özdağlar, Nazan Pak, Eylem Pala Uluğ and Ali Vedad Yüner. The artists are expected to attend the opening, which will also feature a live piano recital and refreshments, giving visitors a chance to see the pieces up close and talk with their makers.

NYC Jewelry Week, the city's annual festival of jewelry design and craft, runs from Nov. 16 to 22 this year with events across New York and online. The Turkish House is the high-rise across from U.N. headquarters that houses Türkiye's Permanent Mission to the United Nations and its Consulate General in New York.
