The US administration is laying out options to increase military pressure on Iran, and in this context plans to send dozens of additional tanker aircraft to Israel. According to Axios, which based its report on three US and one Israeli official, President Donald Trump reviewed new military plans in the Situation Room at the White House on July 14.

Among the options being considered are strikes on infrastructure facilities such as Iran's power plants, intensified attacks on nuclear facilities to ensure that enriched uranium stockpiles are buried deeper, and bombing an underground facility being built in the Pikaks Mountain region. However, the officials stressed that no final decision on these operations has yet been made.
US officials stated that the Trump administration is considering increasing military pressure to force Tehran to open the Strait of Hormuz and accept demands related to its nuclear program.

US tanker aircraft presence in Israel to increase
An Israeli source said the US plans to send several dozen more tanker aircraft to Israel in the coming days and has notified the Israeli government. Currently, around 60 US tanker aircraft are at Ben-Gurion and Ramon airports, and with the additional planes, the number is expected to return to the level seen at the onset of the conflict between the US, Israel and Iran.
