The United States will not attack Iran before the Nov. 3 congressional midterm elections, White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly said on Thursday.
Responding to a question from U.S.-based Dropsite News about whether the United States and Israel might strike Iran in the near future, Kelly said the United States would not strike Iran in any way before the midterms.

Kelly did not comment on whether Israel might carry out an attack on Iran.
President Donald Trump said last week that the United States would not launch any strike on Iran before Nov. 3.
