The Turkish American Association of North Texas (TURANT) hosted a ball in Dallas to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye, which is marked on Oct. 29.
The Turkish Consulate General in Houston, whose consular district includes Texas, attended the ball and said it used the occasion to meet with Turkish citizens living in Dallas.

The event was one of a series of Republic Day celebrations organized by Turkish community groups and Turkish diplomatic missions across the United States in recent days.
