Turkish ambassador, US Chamber of Commerce discuss boosting bilateral trade
Türkiye's Ambassador to the United States Sedat Önal met U.S. Chamber of Commerce executives Khush Choksy and Jennifer Miel at the embassy in Washington to discuss joint activities and reciprocal visits aimed at boosting bilateral trade.
Türkiye's Ambassador to the United States Sedat Önal hosted U.S. Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President Khush Choksy and Jennifer Miel, the chamber's vice president for Türkiye, the Middle East and Central Asia, at the embassy in Washington.
The two sides discussed joint activities and reciprocal visits planned for the coming period with the aim of further strengthening bilateral trade cooperation, the embassy said.
Business ties
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce hosts the U.S.-Türkiye Business Council, which works to expand commercial and investment ties between American and Turkish companies.
The meeting is part of the embassy's ongoing contacts with American business organizations as both countries seek to increase trade volume.
