Children at the Boston Orhan Gündüz Turkish School waved Turkish flags and took the stage dressed in red and white to celebrate the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
Türkiye's Consulate General in Boston joined the celebration and said it was honored and delighted to mark the anniversary together with the school's students, teachers and parents.

Turkish and American flags on stage
The stage was decorated with a portrait of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkish and American flags and red and white balloons, while a screen above it read "29 Ekim Cumhuriyet Bayramı" (October 29 Republic Day).
Older students held up cards bearing the names of the cities of Samsun, Amasya, Erzurum, Sivas and Ankara, as well as "Büyük Zafer" (Great Victory), "Cumhuriyet" (Republic) and "Barış" (Peace).
