President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump cast their ballots early and in person on Saturday at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office in West Palm Beach, Florida, ahead of the Nov. 3 midterm elections.
The president spent the morning at his nearby golf course before arriving at the polling site with the first lady. Asked by reporters whether he had voted the party line, Trump replied, "Very much so," and left wearing an "I Voted" sticker.
Urging Republicans to vote early
Trump has long railed against voting by mail and has been criticized for voting by mail himself in past elections. At rallies ahead of Election Day, however, he has been urging Republicans to cast their ballots early, reversing course on a practice he had long criticized.
After voting, Trump traveled to Georgia, where he headlined a rally in Perry for Republican candidates, including Senate hopeful Mike Collins.
More than 26 million Americans had already voted nationwide by Saturday, including 14.3 million mail-in ballots and 12.5 million early in-person ballots, according to NBC News figures.
